At Nicheliving, we put a lot of time and research into choosing the right locations in Perth for our house and land packages.

We follow a strict selection criteria process that allows us to find up and coming hotspots, because if an area is already getting a lot of buyer attention, then that ship has sailed! To make the most of suburb growth, you have to get on board much earlier.

There are signs to look out for to help you figure out which areas will be popular in the future. One of the biggest signs is government spending, and one area in Perth that’s set to receive a significant investment is the City of Canning.

It was recently announced that the City of Canning is looking to approve a $70 million makeover of its city centre that will include 10,000 new homes, a light rail and sinking part of Albany Highway underground to allow people to walk from the centre to the river.

Nicheliving’s current projects in Willetton and Cannington, as well as its upcoming East Cannington development all fall within the City of Canning and will benefit from the various infrastructure upgrades and additions.

The City’s vision is expected to take place over a period of 10 years and provide 15,000 new jobs.
