Coogee Australia Day Beach Festival
Coogee Beach Reserve
Water slides, kid’s activities and live music are a few of the exciting activities at this free event on the wonderful Coogee Beach in the City of Cockburn. You can also expect; sand castles, a petting zoo, basket weaving and even a watermelon eating competition. Packed with fun for the whole family, get down from 8am - 12pm, grab a free sausage sizzle and enjoy food, drinks and amusements.
2019 Australia Day Festival
Perry Lakes Reserve
Start the day with a free BBQ breakfast from 8am and then explore the many activities. Face painting, camel rides, water slides, live music, an animal farm and sheep shearing are just some of the things to enjoy. After the breakfast, there’s a contemporary indigenous dance performance followed by an Australian citizenship ceremony.
Langley Park event
Langley Park, Perth foreshore
From 3pm you can enjoy a range of events on the foreshore at Langley Park. A variety of activities for all ages including; a water playground, a sports and challenge zone, freestyle BMX, food markets and a sausage sizzle. If you’re staying till the evening, Langley park is a great location to watch the City of Perth fireworks which start at 8pm.
One Day in Fremantle
Esplanade Reserve, Fremantle
Headlined by ARIA award-winning singer Montaigne and joined by soul singer Adrian Eagle, enjoy some great live music in the heart of Fremantle. As well as these amazing acts there’s also many kids’ activities going on from 2pm - 7.30pm and for food, there will be a range of different international cuisines on offer.
City of Perth Skyworks
Want the best view of the City of Perth Australia Day fireworks? Here are some vantage points all over the metro area that will give you different angles of the biggest pyrotechnic show this Australia Day.
Kings Park and Botanic Gardens
– A gold coin donation gets you the highest vantage point.
– Spectacular foreshore views with events from 3pm.
Supreme Court Gardens
– Enjoy the fireworks from the western side of Langley Park with separate events.
Sir James Mitchel Park
– Experience a south of the Swan river view, with its own celebration zone.
Other firework displays are at Belmont Raceway and in Rockingham
