Nicheliving’s 2021 Christmas Party & Charity Event for Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation

We took our valued suppliers and staff to Vin & Flower on Thursday 25th of November 2021 for a night of food, drinks and entertainment, centered around the much-loved Nicheliving Annual Charity Auction to raise funds for Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation and to celebrate a milestone of 20 years of Nicheliving.

The event kicked off with pre-arrival drinks and Grazing Magic did a fantastic job providing us with delicious grazing boards. Ultimo Catering fed the crowd with tasty hors d’oeuvres and finger food all night. Our event stylist Phenomenon Events created a memorable futuristic feel complete with light-up trees and glow-up decorations to bring to life our “Future” theme.

At 6.30pm our performers officially welcomed everyone to the party. Zoe, our magnificent acrobat made her way down the blue carpet accompanied with drummers from O Entertainment. Jayden, the 12-year-old guitar prodigy wowed the crowd with his ACDC Thunderstruck performance. Finally two Indigenous dancers closed the opening entertainment with a stunning dance performance that set the energy high for the night.

The night’s MC Matt Doherty – Nicheliving’s Head of Marketing led the night’s festivities introducing our indigenous liaison Jonathon Ford who delivered a Welcome to Country. Nicheliving’s Chairman Paul Bitdorf and Managing Director, Ronnie Michel-Elhaj welcomed everyone to tonight’s event followed by a nostalgic video presentation of highlights from Nicheliving’s business journey for the past 20 years as well as our corporate goals and missions for the future.

Congratulations to all our 2021 Staff Excellence Award winners who were introduced on stage by Paul and Ronnie. After the formalities ended DJ Skooby returned to the decks and kept the crowd on their feet all night.

Our annual live charity auction began at 8pm with close to 100 items up for grabs which all proceeds go to a good cause. Some hotly-contested items include a Lenovo Executive Laptop, $1,000 Bunker Bay Voucher, $1,000 Smiths Beach Resort Voucher and more. Our seasoned auctioneer Paul as always did a fantastic job keeping the crowd highly-entertained all night.

At 9:30pm Paul returned on stage to present Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation’s CEO Carrick Robinson with a cheque for $45,000. Donations raised from both the live and silent auctions will be used towards the funding of a Vitom 3D System providing surgical teams with high quality visual magnification at the Perth Children’s Hospital. This innovative equipment will provide surgical teams with high quality visual magnification of the procedures, resulting in better outcomes for children and young people undergoing surgery.

A big thank you to all of our suppliers who provided generous auction items for the night, we couldn’t have had such a successful night without every one of you. We look forward to seeing you all at next year’s event.
